Waiting on Wednesday #2

waiting-on-wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine. Each week, you share one book that you can’t wait for! This week, I had to go with one of my most anticipated books of 2015. I can’t believe I have to wait 5 more months to have this book in my hands!

Winter by Marissa Meyer

Winter

Publication Date: November 10, 2015

Publisher: Feiwel and Friends

Series: The Lunar Chronicles #4

Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Retellings

Pages: 832

Synopsis: Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend–the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

Why I’m Excited

Like I mentioned before, Winter is one of my most anticipated releases of 2015. For those of you who don’t know, it is the fourth and final book in the Lunar Chronicles series written by Marissa Meyer. The Lunar Chronicles quickly became one of my favorite series. Each book got better and better as the series went along. Waiting until November to see how it all ends is torturous! If you haven’t given the Lunar Chronicles a chance yet, I highly recommend you do! Click here for more information on the first book in the series, Cinder.
