Book Traveling Thursdays is a weekly meme hosted by Cátia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. Each week there is a different theme and you must pick a book that goes along with that theme. Once you have a book in mind, your post will be centered around the different covers of that particular book. Firstly, you should explain why you think the book you picked goes with the theme. Then you will show the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover. For more information, check out the Goodreads group.
This week’s theme is a book that focuses on food, eating, or cooking. The book I picked for this theme is Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. While this book’s plot isn’t totally centered around food, there are several mentions of Oreos so I thought the book fit the theme well enough!
Original Cover / My Country’s Cover
Favorite Covers
My favorite covers of this book are definitely the original one and the Dutch one! They both have really cool and unique styles!
Least Favorite Cover
It was hard to find a different cover for this book since most of the international versions had covers close to the original. However, I came across this one from Sweden and have picked it as my least favorite. I don’t like it at all!
Did you take part in this week’s Book Traveling Thursdays? If yes, link your post down in the comments! I would love to see which book you picked for this theme!
That cover with an Oreo on it is great!
What is with the Swedish cover? Why a red dot right over the face?

The Dutch one looks good, but I think I love the original one the best. I’ve just come to associate it with the book VERY STRONGLY and can’t see a better cover for it, I suppose. 😂
