September Wrap Up

september-wrap-up-2015

September was an absolutely terrible reading month for me. This is my first year of college so these last few weeks have been super hectic. I’ve already had a lot of work to do so I never have any time or energy to read. That being said, I was only able to finish 3 books this month and 1,857 pages. (The page count includes the pages I read in the book I did not finish.) This is extremely disappointing when considering that before September I read an average of 10 books and 3,790 pages per month. I’m hoping that once I adjust to school and determine how to balance my time I’ll be able to read and blog more!

I think that if you can still read a book in such a tumultuous time, it’s still a big achievement! 🙂 How are you finding college? I think I was so broken after the first few days haha, I came straight home and napped!

I don’t usually do wrap-ups but I managed to read quite a bit! More than I usually do. 🙂 September was a good month for me, which will probably make up for October, which I anticipate to be super busy!

That’s a good point! College is pretty good so far. I’m really enjoying some of my classes! It’s definitely tiring though; especially when I have to get up early for my 8:00 class. That’s great that you were able to get a lot of reading done! What was your favorite book that you read this month? 🙂

Aw yay! I’m glad to hear it. ❤ University was some of the best years of my life – learning everyday and meeting new people. Make the most of it! 😀

Ooooooh that's a tough one! I really loved Gambit by C.L. Denault – it's a dystopian/romance and I usually HATE the combo, but it was soooo good! The romance was pretty complex and twisted, and not a straight insta-love or anything like that. Idk, I just loved it. 😀

Is there anything that you're looking forward to reading? 🙂

I hope I enjoy college as much as you did!

I looked up the synopsis of Gambit and it sounds really intriguing! Maybe I’ll read it!

I’m really looking forward to reading Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas. Also, Rick Riordan’s new book The Sword of Summer and Patrick Ness’s new book The Rest of Us Just Live Here. What about you? 🙂

Ooooh, good choices! I’ve yet to read HoF and QoS too! And I really want to, esp with all the hype and excitement surrounding it. I’ve heard good things about The Rest of Us Just Live Here, and I’ve always sort of wondered what the ‘rest of us’ do! I think I will enjoy that one. 🙂

I anticipate October to be quieter than other months with postgraduate applications and the like. ;_; And it’s harder to do when I’m coming home from work exhausted! But I will get there, and then I shall return to my book babies. 😀
